Maine SPA resorts

A state in the New England region of the United States, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, Maine is both the northernmost and easternmost portion of New England. It is known for its scenery – jagged mostly rocky coastline, low, rolling mountains and heavily forested interior with picturesque waterways. Called the Pine Tree State, nearly 90% of Maine land is forested. In the forested areas of the interior lie much uninhabited land, some of which does not have formal political organization into local units. The state also host the only national park in New England – Acadia National Park. Maine experiences a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers while winters are cold and snowy. So most of tourists come to Maine during summer season. However, spa visitors should not restrain themselves, because most of the best spa establishments are offering treatments all year round.
