Delaware SPA resorts

Delaware is located in the northeastern portion of the Delmarva Peninsula on the Atlantic Coast. The state takes its name from Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr, and English nobleman and Virginia’s first colonial governor. Delaware is a small state and it is in a transitional zone between a humid subtropical climate and a continental climate. It has no places designated as national parks or any other national monument, but there are parks, wildlife refuges and other interesting places. Delaware beaches really revives during summer period, when it is even called “The Nation’s Summer Capital” because it is a frequent summer vacation destination for Washington, D.C., residents. Besides beaches, there are also a few spa destination resorts and many hotels offer spa services.
